Concorde Technology Group: Finance & Administration Assistant
Concorde Technology Group is looking for a proactive and organised Finance & Administration Assistant to join our growing Finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to continue their career within finance and administration while gaining exposure to management accounting, reporting, customer contracts, and business operations within a fast-paced technology business.
Working closely with our Management Accountants and Head of Finance, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business while receiving valuable development opportunities, including learning how to produce monthly management accounts and assisting with statutory accounts and audits.
Role Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting
- Processing supplier invoices, statements, and resolving related queries.
- Generating customer invoices and credit notes.
- Creating payment runs.
- Allocating bank payments and receipts.
- Completing bank reconciliations.
- Closing and reconciling sales and purchase ledgers at month end.
- Assisting with customer query resolution.
- Completing monthly profit and loss analysis for the Head of Finance.
- Producing supporting documentation and reports for customers.
- Assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts and audit requirements.
- Handling petty cash and posting month-end journals.
- Supporting month-end reporting activities.
- Learning to produce full monthly management accounts as part of ongoing development.
Administration & Customer Support
- Managing accounts and invoicing inboxes.
- Supporting customer contract administration, including drafting, issuing, and filing completed agreements.
- Producing weekly operational reports for internal stakeholders.
- Acting as a back-office contact for key customer accounts and supporting service review meetings.
- Maintaining asset tracking records.
- Preparing and updating process documentation.
- Providing administrative support to the wider finance team.

Business Support
- Assisting with purchasing, credit control, and SOP activities when required.
- Supporting order allocation and dispatch processes where needed.
- Ensuring compliance with all company policies, procedures, and ISO standards.
- Supporting other departments during periods of absence or increased workload.
- Undertaking any other reasonable duties as requested by management.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a finance, accounts, or administration role.
- Experience working with purchase ledger and account reconciliations.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills
- Experience of management reporting and financial analysis.
- Understanding of accounting processes and controls.
- Knowledge of IT products, services, or the technology sector.
- Experience working within a fast-paced business environment.

What You'll Need to Succeed
- Previous experience in a finance, accounts, or administration role.
- Experience with purchase ledger and account reconciliations.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- A positive team player who can work independently and use initiative.
