St John's Foundation | Bath & North East Somerset

Changing Lives. For Good.

For over 850 years, St John's Foundation has been supporting people across Bath and North East Somerset. Today, our purpose is simple: to change lives, for good. We provide safe and affordable homes for older people, activities that promote wellbeing and connection, and practical support for people experiencing hardship.

As we continue to strengthen our impact and plan for the future, we are seeking a new Trustee to join our Board.

This is an opportunity to contribute to an organisation that combines a long history of service with a clear focus on addressing current and emerging community needs. Our Trustees play a vital role in helping ensure the Foundation remains well governed, financially sustainable and focused on delivering meaningful outcomes for the people we serve.

You are likely to have experience as a:

  • Finance Director
  • Chief Financial Officer
  • Director of Finance
  • Audit Partner
  • Or in a comparable senior financial leadership role

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
