Finance and Business Support Manager

Salary: £55,000 with annual company bonus
Location: Warwick, office-based

As Finance and Business Support Manager, you will work closely with senior leaders to understand performance, improve processes, strengthen financial control and make sure the business has the information it needs to make effective decisions.

What you will do

You will lead a small team while overseeing financial reporting, forecasting, Order to Delivery, audit activity and wider business support processes. Reporting to the Head of UK Power Systems and colleagues across Volvo Penta and the wider Volvo Group, you will bring together financial and operational insight to identify issues during management team meetings.

  • Own the Order to Delivery process, identifying deviations and driving improvements.
  • Lead month-end reporting, including income statements, OPEX and KPI reporting, and monthly credit control meetings.
  • Own the Order to Delivery process, ensuring customer requirements are accurately captured and reflected in production and delivery workflows, while escalating deviations.
  • Coordinate budgets and forecasts, monitor spend and present forecasts to HQ.
  • Analyse profitability and operating expenses, identifying actions to improve performance.
  • Coordinate internal, external and tax audits while maintaining strong financial controls.
  • Manage the Front Office Team while overseeing contracts, suppliers, invoicing, accruals.

Who are you?

You are a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys understanding what is driving business performance and using that insight to improve it. You are confident working with senior stakeholders, comfortable challenging the status quo and able to support and develop colleagues.


You will bring:

  • A degree in Finance, Business or a related discipline, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and financial statement analysis and audit trail.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to interpret financial information and KPIs and turn them into clear recommendations.
  • An understanding of logistics and customer delivery and how they impact business performance.
  • The ability to work effectively within a multinational organisation, applying policies and processes across different stakeholders and teams.
  • Experience coordinating financial audits and internal control testing, with strong organisational and analytical skills.
  • Line management experience, with the ability to support, motivate and develop team members.
  • Full UK driving licence.
