Finance and People Assistant - Maternity Cover
We’re looking for a talented Finance and People Assistant to join the Sunhouse team!

What you’ll be doing
Working in our fabulous studio in Bath, you will become part of our fast-paced Operations Team. Reporting to our Finance Director, you will be involved in a highly varied, split-discipline position that sits at the very heart of our studio's daily operations. You will take the lead on critical bookkeeping and financial administration, while playing a key administrative role in cultivating our positive workplace culture and supporting our colleagues throughout their employee lifecycle.

What you’ll bring:
- Prior Experience: Prior experience in a similar bookkeeping role, ideally within a small/medium company environment.
- Technical knowledge: Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google suite. AAT/Accounting qualifications would be an advantage but not essential.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and self-motivation.
- Organisation: Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills. You have the ability to run multiple projects concurrently, take total ownership of your tasks, and work independently.
- Learning: A proactive and naturally inquisitive mindset with sound judgment. You are eager to master new software platforms and help drive operational improvements in the studio.
- Teamwork: Superb communication and interpersonal skills. You are a natural collaborator who can deal professionally with external stakeholders while supporting your colleagues and our teams in the studio.
- Discretion: An absolute commitment to honesty, integrity, and maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive financial and personnel data.
