Finance Apprentice
Location: Alconbury Weald, Huntingdon, PE28 4YA
Contract: 18-month Finance Apprenticeship
Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday-Friday
Salary: £17,000 per year
Start date: October/November 2026

Are you finishing school or college and wondering what's next? Maybe you're interested in Finance, Business or working with numbers, but you're not sure university is the right route for you.
At MM Flowers, we're looking for a Finance Apprentice to join our Finance team and take their first step towards an exciting career in Finance and Accounting.
You'll earn a salary, gain a recognised qualification and get real Finance experience at the same time. And don't worry – we're not looking for someone who already knows everything about Finance. We're looking for someone who's bright, curious, good with numbers and keen to learn. We'll help you with the rest.
What will you learn?
You'll work alongside experienced members of our Finance team and gradually build your knowledge and confidence across areas including:
- Processing invoices and financial transactions
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Checking and reconciling financial information
- Using Finance and accounting systems
- Working with Excel and financial data
- Helping prepare reports and analysis
- Understanding how Finance supports a large business
- Identifying errors and investigating why numbers don't match
- Learning about financial controls, data security and professional standards

Your Apprenticeship
Alongside your role at MM Flowers, you'll complete a recognised Finance/Accounting apprenticeship qualification. You'll have dedicated time for your studies while putting what you learn into practice as part of your day-to-day role.
By the end of the 18 months, you'll have gained:
- A recognised qualification
- 18 months of real Finance experience
- A fantastic foundation for your future career
Who are we looking for?
You don't need previous Finance experience. We're much more interested in your attitude and potential.
