These include La Bottega, a leader in luxury hotel beauty essentials; Vanity Group, with a global presence and expertise spanning R&D, production, design, and communication; Palatino Hospitality, specialising in bespoke luxury accessories and tailored project development; Beltrami, a global icon in custom luxury textiles for hotels, spas, superyachts, and private residences, known for its exclusive Autentica Fibra di Legno®; and White Privé, which develops textile collections for hospitality and licensed lines for luxury fashion brands.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Finance Assistant supports the financial operations of all entities and markets managed from La Bottega Collective’s London office. The role covers end-to-end transactional finance, including AP, AR and reconciliations. It also plays an active part in month-end close, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and VAT and audit compliance.
Main Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Month-End
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, reporting packs, and variance analysis across all Group entities.
- Prepare and post journals, accruals, and prepayments.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Support cash flow reporting and financial performance analysis.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial ensuring accurate and timely management information.

Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process supplier invoices and bills accurately within the ERP system.
- Maintain supplier and customer accounts, including reconciliations and query resolution.
- Prepare and process supplier payment runs, ensuring timely payments.
- Support customer invoicing, cash allocation, credit control, and aged debtor reporting.
- Manage AP and AR transactions for All entities under La Bottega collective UK and maintaining accuracy across each entity.
Financial Operations
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records across all Group entities and offices.
- Assist with process improvements to enhance efficiency and strengthen controls Group-wide.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting across the Collective.
- Assist in preparation of cash flow forecasts and scenario analysis.
- Monitor performance against budgets and provide financial analysis and variance reporting.

Compliance & Audit
- Assist with VAT returns, audit preparation, and compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.
Ad-Hoc Support
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, and project support as required.
- Support the wider finance team during peak periods and business-critical activities across the Group.
Key Experiences
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting role or similar
- Strong ERP system experience preferably SAP
- Strong financial reporting experience and ideally IFRS knowledge
- Experience in a regional office of global business is desirable
- Previous experience in SME and FMCG industry
- Advanced Excel skills
Key Knowledge & Competencies
- Being able to deal with different levels of stakeholders from junior to directors
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Strong communication with external and internal stakeholders
- Proactive problem solver with calm execution under pressure.
- Comfortable working hands-on, independently, and in a fast-scaling environment.
- Excellent communication skills; able to translate operational detail into clear summaries.
Compensation & Benefits
In line with our commitment to transparency and equal opportunity, the salary range for this position is £33,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
