Salary: £26,707 to £30,378 (Full-Time/Secondment Opportunity)

An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant within the Financial Accounting Team, for a fixed term 12 month contract to cover a permanent colleague on secondment.
You will be working towards the AAT qualification or hold an equivalent qualification.
You will be responsible for:
- Reconciliation of the University bank accounts in any currency
- Resolution of all queries in a timely manner and accuracy
- A rota system with colleagues for all payments to University suppliers by either BACS for sterling payments or online banking for international payments
- Receipt checking of expense claims submitted by University staff and students
- Helping them compile their claims if requested to do so
- Ad hoc duties, in line with grading
