This role is based full-time ONSITE in our brand-new offices in Chelmsford.
BACKGROUND/ ABOUT DCL
Direct Commercial are specialist commercial motor insurers. Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has become available in our Finance Team.
The successful candidate would be based at our office in Chelmsford where no two days are the same! So, if you are looking to grow your career in Finance then this is a great opportunity to get started.

Duties:
- Processing of premium / claims data
- Handling daily banking activity for numerous bank accounts and recording in the accounting systems
- Assistance with credit control and escalating aged debt
- Conduct weekly/monthly bank reconciliations
- Monitoring shared mailboxes
- Internal and external communication by phone and email
- Processing purchase invoices and raising weekly payment runs
- Providing cover for other areas of the finance team such as; sales invoice preparation and assistant with premium financing
- Other office administration duties as and when required

Skills:
- Good communication skills, both verbal & written
- Attention to detail
- Strong numerical skills
- Competent in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage workload and complete tasks to a set time frame
Required Experience:
N/A but office experience is desirable
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum Grade C / 4 GCSE in English & Maths
