Finance Assistant

Location: London Bridge

Salary: £28,000

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm

Full time office based and after probation they can offer 2 days a week from home

We're recruiting a Finance Assistant to join an ambitious and growing company in the heart of London Bridge. This role offers hands-on finance experience within a lively, supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the finance department.

  • Loading supplier invoices and sending for approval
  • Processing monthly payment runs
  • Updating the cashbook on their accounting system
  • Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers
  • Handling general enquiries
  • Preparing commission statements efficiently
  • Loading sale invoices
  • Assist with debt collecting
  • Overseeing the sales statement process

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in Purchase Ledger
  • Proficiency in using Sage software is beneficial
  • An accounting qualification, preferably AAT Level 3 or equivalent is beneficial
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and effective time management
