Legal Finance Assistant

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading international law firm, to assist them in their search for a new Legal Finance Assistant.

This is a permanent role in their London office, to work as part of their highly collaborative team, whereby the successful applicant will assist with daily financial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Entering data and processing invoices.
  • Preparing client bills, providing end-to-end billing support, and responding to billing queries.
  • Monitoring and maintaining accounts receivable and the Excel sheet.
  • Reconciling vendor statements and assisting with accounts payable.
  • Preparing and submitting expenses.
  • Maintaining ledgers, journals, and wider financial documentation.
  • Supporting with financial analytics, reports, documentation, and Excel.
  • Assisting with time entries and narratives.
  • Entering invoices and reconciling accounts.
  • Providing administrative support.
  • Supporting Client Accounts in line with SRA rules.

Requirements

Suitable candidates will have gained prior broad finance experience, ideally within a law firm, although professional services environments will also be considered. We are seeking applicants with exemplary attention to detail, communication, prioritisation, and organisation skills.
