Finance Assistant (part-time, 3 days per week) Location: London (On-site) Contract: 3-months initially, potential extension or temp-to-perm Rate: £150 - £175 per day (Inside IR35, via umbrella company) Start: Immediate

Role Overview

Our client is a global network of best-in-class creative and communications agencies, crafting standout brand experiences for some of the world's most recognisable names across the luxury and lifestyle sectors.

To support recent growth, they are looking for a hands-on Finance Assistant to join their London team on an initial three-month basis. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you'll help keep day-to-day finance operations across the group's UK entities accurate, organised and running smoothly.

It's a role that will suit a junior finance professional with some practical grounding under their belt, who thrives in a fast-moving environment and takes genuine pride in getting the detail right.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help run day-to-day finance operations across a number of UK trading entities.
  • Enter and process supplier invoices, supporting accounts payable posting and reconciliation.
  • Raise and issue customer invoices and support the wider client billing process.
  • Carry out routine bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and reconcile intercompany receivable and payable balances between group entities.
  • Set up and keep project codes up to date.
  • Check staff expense claims and supporting paperwork, chasing anything left outstanding.
  • Pull together monthly staff and client-recharged expenses, making sure receipts and backup tie out cleanly.
  • Reconcile company credit card spend.
  • Build and maintain Excel workbooks for bulk invoice uploads across multiple projects.
  • Support the Finance Manager and CFO through month-end and with general day-to-day accounting tasks.
  • Keep financial records and documentation accurate and well organised, and provide general administrative support across the finance function as needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
