Role Overview
Vorboss is looking for a Finance Assistant to support the Finance Department with accounting and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and able to collaborate effectively with teams across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn and develop their career within a dynamic, high-performance company that’s redefining connectivity in London. No prior finance experience is required, just a genuine interest in building a career in finance.
Key Responsibilities
(Please note that this list is not exhaustive)
- Take lead in monitoring the accounts inbox.
- Inputting and recording invoices.
- Liaising with suppliers.
- Responding to account queries.
- Performing bank reconciliations.
- Ensuring customer invoices are paid in a timely manner and following up where necessary.
- Managing company card expenses.
- Ensuring purchase orders and payments are compliant.
The Right Candidate
- 0-2 years’ previous experience with a desire to pursue a career within finance and progress towards completing the ACCA qualification.
- A willingness to learn quickly and a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines while staying flexible in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidence in handling confidential information with the highest level of integrity.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels, from installation teams to management.
- Knowledge of Microsoft, including Excel is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail.
