The Role
We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our finance team and support the day-to-day running of the accounts function. This is a full-time role based at our Inverness office, with scope for flexible working arrangements after an initial induction phase.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- Process supplier and subcontractor invoices accurately and on time.
- Carry out bank account reconciliations.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate customer and supplier records.
- Maintain accurate Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) records.
- Assist with VAT returns, year-end accounts and management accounts as required.

About You
Essential experience:
- Previous experience in a finance or accounts role.
Desirable:
- Experience within the construction or M&E sector.
- Knowledge of CIS and VAT processes.
- Experience on Xero or similar accounting software.
