We’re now looking for a Finance Assistant to join our incredible team on a part-time contract.

- Process and accurately record supplier invoices in Xero
- Ensure invoices are correctly coded and authorised
- Manage the accounts payable inbox and respond to supplier queries
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier records
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure payments are made on time
Additional finance support
- Assist the Finance Director with ad hoc finance administration when required
- Provide support with month-end accounts where needed
About you
We are looking for someone who is experienced, organised, and able to work independently. You will ideally have:
- 3-5+ years' experience in a finance, bookkeeping, or accounts role
- Strong practical experience using Xero
- Good understanding of purchase ledger and supplier payments
- Experience supporting month-end accounts
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Ability to identify discrepancies and investigate them rather than simply flagging them
- Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills and confidence dealing with suppliers and colleagues

- Hours: 8-10 hours per week
- Working pattern: Flexible; ideally spread across 2 days
- Location: Hybrid
- Reporting to: Finance Director
