Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex SS2 (Hybrid Working)

Salary: £28,000 pa + Benefits

Targa Telematics (UK) Limited, is part of the international Targa Telematics Group, specialising in telematics and connected vehicle technology and IoT. If you have AAT qualifications, two years experience in a Finance role and can demonstrate commitment to an accounting career and a good understanding of double entry to trial balance, we'd like to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

With a view to developing your knowledge and skills to progress within the team, you'll be:

  • Supporting the Finance team, maintaining both Sales and Purchase ledgers,
  • Day to day invoice processing
  • Reconciliations and query resolution.
  • Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register.
  • Credit Control
  • Accurately record all bank transactions, assisting with bank and multi-currency supplier payments.
  • Daily and monthly multi-currency Bank reconciliations and revaluations.
  • Ad hoc balance sheet reconciliations and contribution to special projects as required.
  • Provide cover for absent teammates.
  • Any other tasks that may be relevant to the role

What we're looking for

In addition to the experience and qualifications stated above, you will need to be able to demonstrate:

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Well organised and highly accurate.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work as part of a small team either remotely or at the office.
  • Highly motivated to develop current knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Sage c50 preferred but not essential.
