The role of Finance Assistant in the not-for-profit sector involves handling day-to-day financial tasks to keep accounting operations running smoothly. You'll play a key part in supporting the wider finance team by ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial data.

Client Details

This role is within the not-for-profit sector, providing support in accounting and finance.

Description

  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and monitor account transactions.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and budgets as required.
  • Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end financial close processes.
  • Ensure financial data is kept up to date and securely stored.
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team.

A Successful Finance Assistant Should Have

  • A strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes.

Job Offer

  • Hourly pay between £17.00 and £19.00, dependent on the level of experience.
