As a Finance Assistant
You'll play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation in Oxford. From processing transactions to assisting with financial reporting, your work will help ensure the smooth running of the accounting and finance function.

Description
The Finance Assistant's responsibilities include:
- Process financial transactions, including invoices, payments and receipts.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and reconciliations.
- Support the team with budget monitoring and variance analysis.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Handle queries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
- Support the preparation of year-end accounts and audit processes.
- Help improve financial processes and procedures for greater efficiency.
- Collaborate with the wider accounting and finance team on various projects.

Profile
A Successful Finance Assistant Should Have
- A solid understanding of accounting and finance principles.
- Experience in processing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.

Job Offer
Benefits Include
- Permanent position based in Oxford.
- Salary between £32,000 and £35,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- Standard benefits package included.
