About VFX
VFX Financial is one of the UK’s fastest-growing FinTechs, helping complex organisations move, manage, and protect money across borders. Built for specialist sectors, multi-jurisdiction structures, and high-compliance environments, we support businesses whose needs go beyond standard banking. We’re selective about who we work with because exceptional service requires focus and commitment.
With six international offices, five regulatory licences, and an 83% CAGR over the past three years, we’re scaling rapidly and earning industry recognition along the way — including the Financial Times FT1000: Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies 2026, CNBC World's Top Fintech Companies 2026, Wealth & Finance FinTech Awards 2026, and the Business Growth Award from Business Awards UK.
Behind it all is a team of ambitious VFXers united by collective ownership, a focus on growth, and a shared passion for solving complex problems.
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Finance Assistant to join our growing Finance team. This is a hands-on role covering the day-to-day of accounts payable and receivable, payroll preparation, reconciliations, and month-end support. You’ll also get exposure to analysis and ad hoc projects, helping to ensure accuracy and integrity across all financial data.
It’s an excellent opportunity to develop your career in a fast-paced financial services business, gaining experience across the full finance function.
No prior experience is required—just a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
