Finance Assistant (Purchase Ledger)

Location: London Bridge

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm


We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant (Purchase Ledger) to join a busy and supportive finance team based near London Bridge. This is a great opportunity for someone with existing purchase ledger experience who is looking to develop their career within a structured and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing and loading supplier invoices onto the accounting system
  • Circulating invoices internally for approval
  • Supporting monthly payment runs
  • Updating and maintaining the cash book
  • Liaising with suppliers and resolving invoice queries
  • Handling general finance-related enquiries
  • Preparing commission statements
  • Raising and loading sales invoices
  • Supporting credit control and debt collection activities
  • Assisting with sales statement processes

Requirements

  • Previous Purchase Ledger experience essential
  • Experience using Sage preferred
  • AAT Level 3 or equivalent desirable
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working across teams
  • Organised with good time management skills
  • Positive, proactive approach with a collaborative attitude
