About the Role
As a Finance Assistant in the professional services industry in Brighton, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business. From managing invoices to assisting with reconciliations, your work will help ensure the smooth running of the accounting and finance department.

Description
- Process invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and financial reporting tasks.
- Maintain accurate financial records and update internal systems.
- Support payroll processing and expense management activities.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and review financial data for audits and compliance purposes.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance team.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Profile
A Successful Finance Assistant Should Have
- Basic knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
- Proficiency in using accounting software (ideally Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from £27,000 to £28,000, dependent on the level of experience.
