We are delighted to be partnering with a client based in Cheltenham to support the recruitment of a Finance Assistant to join their team.

This new position has been created as a result of the company’s continued expansion, offering the successful candidate the chance to join a dynamic and ambitious team. The role offers exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities with opportunities for development and increased responsibility over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain sales and purchase ledgers, including reconciliations
  • Process bank transactions and perform bank reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end processes, journals, accruals, and prepayments
  • Support management accounts preparation and balance sheet reconciliations

Requirements

  • AAT Level 3 qualified or currently studying
  • Previous experience in an accounts or finance role
  • Understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
