A well-established Cheltenham-based business is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their finance team on an interim basis. This is a great opportunity to support a busy account function within a friendly and collaborative working environment. The role is office-based initially, with hybrid working potentially available following training.
Your new role
As a Finance Assistant, you will support the day-to-day running of the finance department, ensuring financial records are maintained accurately and processes run smoothly. Key responsibilities will include:
- Processing purchase and sales ledger transactions
- Reconciling accounts and assisting with bank reconciliations
- Managing supplier and customer queries
- Supporting payment runs and maintaining accurate financial records
- Using Sage 200 to process and update financial information

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in a finance or accounts position and be confident carrying out transactional finance duties. Experience using Sage 200 would be advantageous, along with strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
