Finance Assistant Apprentice - Level 3

We’re excited to welcome a Finance Assistant Apprentice - Level 3 into our Finance Service, working specifically within the Transactional Accounting Team.

This is a fantastic starting point if you’re finishing school, college or university and want to build real, practical experience in finance while earning a wage, however, you can be an apprentice at any age.

You don’t need lots of experience, just enthusiasm, accuracy, and a willingness to learn. We’ll teach you everything you need to know.

What You’ll Be Doing

The Transactional Accounting Team handles day-to-day financial activity that keeps the council running smoothly, such as processing orders, invoices and payments, collating data for financial assessments in respect of care packages, maintaining financial records, supporting month-end tasks, and helping ensure that financial information is accurate and up to date.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
