Job Title: Finance Assistant
Company: Private Equity backed Events and Hospitality business in Oxfordshire
Role Description: We are looking to hire a Finance Assistant to support our upcoming system migration. This role is within Payables but is focused on system migration tasks such as speaking to internal teams, reconciling ledger and zeroing balances, reviewing processes, resolving queries, and intercompany reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any queries
- Reviewing processes and suggesting improvements for efficiencies
- Working with internal team and consultants who are implementing a new AI based CRM which can read and process invoices
- Supporting supplier account maintenance and data cleansing
- Handling inter-company transactions
- Assisting with the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
- Building positive relationships with suppliers and colleagues across the business
- Helping to improve Accounts Payable processes as the new system is introduced

Role Details:
- Duration: 6 months initially but likely to extend longer term
- Location: Chipping Norton (Ideal candidate within 50 min drive of office)
- Office: 5 days per week in office but can arrange start time, lunch, and finish time to suit ideal candidate
- Salary: £29k - £33k
- Payroll: You'll be on their payroll so receive all benefits like pension, life assurance, onsite parking etc.

Requirements:
- Positive attitude
- At least 4 years experience and good end-to-end accounts payable process knowledge
- Any experience in change or system migration is handy but certainly not essential
Flexibility:
- Flexible on start time, finish time, and taking lunch
- Ideal if you wanted an early start 8-5, or do school run, arrive at 9:30 then pop out at lunch to collect kids if needed
