Finance Assistant - Aberdeen
As a Finance Assistant in Aberdeen, you'll handle the day-to-day financial tasks that keep the business running smoothly. From processing invoices to supporting month-end activities, you'll play a crucial role in the accounting and finance function within the business services industry.

This organisation operates in the business services industry and is based in Aberdeen.
Description
- Process invoices, payments, and expense claims accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting activities.
- Support the preparation of VAT returns and other compliance requirements.
- Maintain and update financial systems and databases.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting and finance team as needed.
- Respond to internal and external financial queries promptly and professionally.

Profile
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Familiarity with financial software and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
- Experience working with payroll.

Job Offer
- Permanent contract in the business services industry.
- Competitive salary of £33,000 - £36,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- Based in Aberdeen.
