Finance Assistant & Bookkeeper Role in Brighton
The Finance Assistant & Bookkeeper role in Brighton involves managing day-to-day financial tasks to keep the property business running smoothly. You'll handle bookkeeping, financial records, and assist with accounting processes to ensure everything is organised and up to date.

Description
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial transactions are recorded correctly.
- Assist with preparing financial reports and management accounts.
- Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Handle VAT returns and other tax-related documentation.
- Monitor budgets and track expenses to ensure financial goals are met.
- Communicate with external stakeholders, such as auditors and suppliers, regarding financial matters.
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance department.

Profile
A successful Finance Assistant & Bookkeeper should have:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial administration.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using financial software and spreadsheets.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Job Offer
- Salary ranging from £36,000 to £44,000, dependent on the level of experience.
