Our Team
Our Finance team provides world-class financial services to the business, supporting colleagues and clients across our international operations.
We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our Cash Management Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and motivated individual to develop their finance career within a global law firm.
You will play a key role in supporting the efficient management of client and office cash, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with the firm's policies and regulatory requirements.
The Role
Working as part of a fast-paced and dynamic team, you will support the day-to-day activities of the Cash Management function. You will be responsible for processing financial transactions, performing reconciliations, resolving queries and delivering an excellent service to stakeholders across the business.

Reporting directly to the Cash Team Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Performing daily bank reconciliations within SAP and investigating discrepancies.
- Processing client and office account payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitoring and allocating incoming receipts.
- Assisting with domestic and international payment transactions.
- Supporting the administration of client monies in line with regulatory requirements.
- Resolving cash management queries and incidents within agreed service levels.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and audit trails.
- Supporting month-end and year-end finance processes.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders, banks and external parties as required.
- Contributing to process improvements and enhancing service delivery across the team.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a finance, accounting, cash management or treasury environment is desirable.
- Competent user of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade 6/B or above) or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Willingness to learn and develop within a finance operations environment.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage competing deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build trusted relationships and act as an ambassador for the Finance function.
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
