Role Overview
You'll oversee the collection of payments and manage property accounts within the financial services industry. Your role will ensure accurate record-keeping and smooth cash flow for the business.
Client Details
This role is with a company in the financial services industry based in Bishopbriggs. Near the train station and free parking onsite.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing and controlling rental income and property-related receivables within Self-Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) schemes.
- The role ensures timely invoicing, effective credit control, and accurate financial administration of property assets held within SIPPs, supporting the wider property and administration teams.
- Description
- Monitor and manage property-related payment collections for SIPP accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of rental income and outstanding balances.
- Communicate with tenants to ensure timely payments and resolve any queries.
- Prepare regular reports on payment statuses and outstanding debts.
- Liaise with internal teams to address discrepancies or payment issues.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist in reconciling property accounts and resolving discrepancies.
- Support the accounting team with other finance-related tasks as needed.

Profile
A successful Finance Assistant / Credit Controller should have:
- Experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or property finance
- Understanding of property management or commercial leases (desirable)
- Knowledge of SIPP or pension administration (advantageous but not essential)
- Strong numerical and reconciliation skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator with good negotiation skills
- Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
