Speyroc Ltd is an established UK property developer and building contractor with a long history of delivering diverse construction projects. Originating in Inverness in 1968 as house builders, the company built a strong reputation through its expertise in precast concrete construction and kit houses across the North of Scotland, particularly in remote locations.
In 1982, Speyroc expanded operations with a London office, undertaking work for central London local authorities, housing trusts, and major estate owners such as Cadogan Estates, Grosvenor Estates, and Crown Estates.
Today, Speyroc continues to apply its decades of experience to high-quality, reliable construction and development projects, offering stability and professional growth opportunities for team members.

The Finance Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Glasgow, supporting the finance team with day-to-day financial administration and accounting tasks.
Responsibilities
- Processing invoices
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting with accounts payable and receivable
- Supporting the preparation of quarterly accounts reports
- Reconciling statements
- Monitoring transaction accuracy
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls and procedures
The role involves liaising with internal teams and external partners to resolve queries, provide timely information, and contribute to efficient financial operations within the business.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance and Accounting, with the ability to support routine bookkeeping and financial reporting activities.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for reviewing financial data, identifying discrepancies, and supporting reconciliations.
- Practical experience or familiarity with Invoicing processes, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, and other stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.
- Proficiency in common accounting software and MS Excel or similar spreadsheet tools.
- High attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational skills.
- Previous experience in a finance or administrative support role within construction, property, or a similar industry is beneficial.
