Finance Assistant / Finance Apprentice
University Schools Trust (UST) | London
Full Time | 35 Hours per Week
Are you looking to build a career in finance within a supportive and ambitious education organisation?
University Schools Trust is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance Team. We are open to appointing either an experienced Finance Assistant or an aspiring Finance Apprentice, depending on your skills and experience.
What you'll do
- Process invoices, purchase orders and payments
- Support financial administration and reconciliations
- Assist budget holders and colleagues with finance queries
- Help maintain accurate financial records and controls
- Work alongside experienced finance professionals across our Trust

Two Routes Available
Finance Assistant
- Permanent contract
- Scale 4 salary
- Suitable for candidates with finance or administrative experience
Finance Apprentice
- London Living Wage
- Fixed-term contract for the duration of the apprenticeship
- Fully supported apprenticeship programme
- Opportunity to progress into a permanent role upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, subject to performance and organisational needs
