Are you an organised and detail-oriented finance professional looking to develop your career within a fast-paced and growing business?
At Calisen, we're looking for a Finance Assistant to support the day-to-day operation of our Purchase Ledger function, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and on time. Working as part of our Finance team, you'll play a key role in maintaining strong supplier relationships, resolving queries efficiently, and supporting wider finance activities including month-end processes.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous finance experience who enjoys working collaboratively, managing multiple priorities, and delivering a high standard of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase ledger invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Support the Accounts Payable mailbox.
- Ensure Purchase Order processes are followed across the business.
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve queries.
- Complete supplier statement reconciliations.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations.
- Support payment runs, including month-end and ad hoc payments.
- Provide Accounts Receivable cover when required.

About You
You'll have:
- Previous experience in a finance, accounts payable, purchase ledger or similar role.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and data processing.
- Experience with invoicing and payment processing.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- The ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to work.
