Finance Assistant
The role:
Are you looking to build a successful career in finance within a collaborative, international business? We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of finance activities while working closely with colleagues across the UK, USA, Australia and Japan.
As a key member of the team, you'll play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting business operations, and helping drive continuous improvements in our systems and processes. No two days are the same, and you'll gain valuable exposure to multiple areas of finance while developing your skills in a supportive environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Processing supplier invoices, payments and employee expenses accurately and efficiently.
- Performing reconciliations across bank accounts, balance sheet accounts and key finance systems.
- Supporting month-end activities and ensuring financial records remain accurate.
- Assisting with cash management and payment runs.
- Responding to queries from colleagues and suppliers, delivering excellent customer service.
- Maintaining strong financial controls and ensuring company procedures are followed.
- Supporting audit requests and documentation requirements.
- Assisting with system implementations, process documentation and finance transformation projects.

What we are looking for from you:
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to work with stakeholders across the business.
- Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Previous finance, accounts or administration experience is desirable but not essential.
- Studying towards, or interested in studying towards, an accounting qualification (AAT/CIMA/ACCA) would be advantageous.
