As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an organised and motivated Finance Assistant to join our Finance team on a maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has excellent attention to detail, and thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment.

The Role

As a Finance Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of our Finance department. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing purchase ledger invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Reconciling supplier accounts and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Processing and reconciling company credit card statements.
  • Processing employee expense claims.
  • Completing bank reconciliations.
  • Assisting with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
  • Supporting the wider Finance team with additional accounting duties.

Full Time 35hrs or Part Time 28hrs option.

About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys working as part of a team. Ideally, you'll have:

  • Previous experience in purchase ledger and supplier account reconciliations.
  • Experience processing company credit card statements and employee expenses.
  • Experience completing bank reconciliations.
  • Experience using Sage 200 Standard.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • A positive, energetic and approachable personality.
  • The ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines within a busy environment.
