Role Description
We’re looking for a Finance Assistant to provide accurate and efficient financial and administrative support across Creative Folkestone, helping to keep our day-to-day finance processes running smoothly. Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Process supplier invoices, payments and staff expenses
- Manage rent invoices, tenant accounts, deposits and aged debtors
- Reconcile bank transactions, supplier statements and income
- Raise sales invoices and maintain accurate financial records
- Produce reports and respond to finance queries
- Provide general finance and administrative support across the organisation

Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working in finance or accounts, including accounts payable and/or receivable
- GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent
- Good IT skills, including Excel, Word and finance systems
- Strong numerical, organisational and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- QuickBooks Online, VAT, property finance or charity-sector experience would be an advantage

The Finance team works across the organisation, supporting the effective financial management of our charitable activities, property portfolio, venues and programmes. It plays an important role in ensuring that Creative Folkestone's financial processes are accurate, efficient and well managed, supporting both the day-to-day operation of the organisation and its longer-term sustainability.
