Are you looking to build a career in finance within a dynamic and growing insurance business?

KP Brokers Ltd are a modern, tech-driven insurance brokerage headquartered in London with offices in Dallas, TX and Scottsdale, AZ. We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance team in the heart of the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who is keen to gain hands-on experience across finance within the insurance industry.

Working closely with experienced colleagues, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business. You will gain exposure to premium accounting processes, client money management, bookkeeping, reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and finance projects, providing a well-rounded foundation for a career in finance.

We are a collaborative and supportive team that values learning, development, and teamwork. Our modern open-plan office is conveniently located in the City of London, offering a vibrant working environment with plenty of opportunities to learn, develop, and contribute from day one.

Job Specification (included but not limited to)

  • Reconcile client money accounts using Xero and assist with reporting
  • Maintain bookkeeping records for UK and US entities using Xero
  • Assist in preparing monthly cash flow forecasts
  • Support the processing of supplier payments
  • Assist with month-end finance activities
  • Provide support on ad-hoc finance and business improvement projects
  • Prepare and distribute Statements of Account
  • Produce and distribute Aged Debt Reports
  • Support credit control activities and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Allocate agent payments and investigate payment discrepancies

  • Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and data analysis
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Previous office, finance, or administrative experience is advantageous but not essential

Requirements

  • English and Maths GCSE
