The Finance Assistant, Sr. Associate ensures operational excellence in the Finance division by driving accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across financial processes. This role supports accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, budgeting, reporting, and audit readiness, providing actionable insights to improve operational performance and support strategic business objectives.

Responsibilities

Operational Financial Management

  • Execute and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain precise accounting entries in ERP and finance systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks).
  • Monitor AP/AR activity, resolving discrepancies and ensuring vendor and internal stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Support cash flow management, financial planning, and forecasting initiatives.

Financial Reporting & Close Processes

  • Assist in month-end and year-end closings, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements, variance reports, and budget summaries.
  • Validate data integrity and support management in decision-making through financial insights.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Coordinate departmental budget submissions and consolidation of company-wide budgets.
  • Track actuals versus forecasts, escalate variances, and provide actionable recommendations.

Compliance, Audit & Documentation

  • Maintain audit-ready financial documentation, ensuring adherence to SOX, GAAP, and internal policies.
  • Support internal and external audits, providing required data and documentation efficiently.

Cross-Functional Operations Support

  • Collaborate with Finance and other business units to ensure alignment and operational efficiency.
  • Provide operational support for finance projects, process improvements, and system enhancements.
