At fin-house, we're fuelling startups, scaleups and SMEs with awesome finance teams.
The problem: The current go-to for start-ups and SMEs is outsourcing their finance function and team to accountancy firms who are very far removed from the business and often simply produce numbers without context.
Our solution: At fin-house, we deliver 'in-house'. This means our clients will have a team IN their business, providing proactive insight, advice and commercial support, enabling them to make the right decisions at the right time. We make sure our clients get the finance function they need, when they need it, seamlessly integrated into their business.
The key bits
- Location: We are based in Waterloo (London) with a minimum of three days in the office a week
- Salary: Between £28,000 - £36,000 depending on experience

They do more than just process – they understand why the work matters. At fin-house, our fin-ops create the solid foundations that give the wider team the clarity and confidence to drive insight, strategy and growth for our clients.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
