Hillcrest Homes is recruiting for a Finance Assistant.

About the Role
The Finance Assistant will be responsible for the accuracy and completeness of processing of expenditure and general financial duties across the Hillcrest Group.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain the purchase ledgers for group companies including processing invoices within document management system.
- Reconcile supplier statements and control accounts.
- Process twice monthly supplier payments and resolve any disputes with suppliers as required.
- Process purchase orders in line with procedures.
- Support the Finance Assistant (Cashbook) as and when required.
- Complete data analysis and review as required by the business to allow details expenditure.
- Support and assist with journals and data for the production of monthly management accounts.

Customer and Partnership Working
The Finance Assistant will:
- Maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with outside bodies including but not limited to: suppliers and contractors, utility companies and external auditors.
- Liaise with internal customers to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all areas of expenditure across the group.
About You
You will:
- Hold a qualification equivalent to a minimum of Level 5 of the SCQF Framework
- Have proven previous accountancy and processing experience in a Finance Team
- Have previous experience of accountancy packages and software
- Have good communication and numerical skills
- Be enthusiastic, confident, reliable and highly motivated
