Location: London (Hybrid/Remote)

Contract: Temporary contract, 3-4 week assignment

About the Role

Robert Half are supporting a leading organisation who are looking for a Contract Support Finance Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis. This role will provide operational finance support, with a strong focus on purchasing, billing, administration, and resolving supplier and internal queries.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a high volume of requests while working to tight deadlines.
This opportunity would suit someone from an Accounts Payable, Finance Assistant, Purchase Ledger, or Contract Support background who enjoys a varied role combining finance processes and administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and approve purchase requisitions (PRs) through Coupa where required
  • Complete goods receiving activities within Coupa
  • Support vendor invoice checking and resolution of invoice queries
  • Follow up with suppliers and internal stakeholders on outstanding queries
  • Monitor purchase order requirements and ensure requests are processed correctly
  • Work with operational teams to ensure tickets requiring purchase orders have been raised appropriately
  • Support controllable billing processes
  • Raise purchase orders and liaise with procurement teams and suppliers
  • Track purchasing activity from quotation stage through to completion and goods receipt
  • Provide general administrative and operational finance support

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within Accounts Payable, Finance Assistant or Purchase Ledger
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent accuracy
  • Experience managing high volumes of requests and prioritising workload effectively
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • The ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills when dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders

Working Arrangements

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Fully remote working available after initial onboarding and training
  • Candidates must be London-based and able to attend an office initially for equipment collection and training
