This is a hybrid role between office & home - candidates will need to be able to travel to Leicester office on a weekly basis.
To provide accurate and timely transactional finance support in line with company procedures and controls, supporting the processing of purchase orders, invoices, supplier queries and associated Accounts Payable activities.
Core Duties
- Process purchase orders and invoices accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Complete accurate data entry and maintain supplier records.
- Respond to internal and supplier queries.
- Support payment runs and associated checks.
- Take ownership of allocated supplier accounts, managing them through to resolution including queries.
- Assist with supplier statement and account reconciliations.
- Maintain appropriate records and supporting documentation.
- Monitor outstanding items and follow through to resolution.
- Escalate issues, discrepancies or risks where required.
- Support the wider transactional finance team during busy periods.
