As a creative agency in the exhibition sector, we’re recognised as one of the fastest growing companies in the UK, nominated in the 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain list for the past two years and featured in the Virgin Fast Track 100.

The agency is an eclectic mix of designers, architects, videographers, digital experts, and project managers taking concepts and ideas and building them into unbeatable brand experiences. Our clients include tech, pharmaceutical, telecoms and cybersecurity companies, and our output is global.

The Finance Assistant role is an essential one within mccglc Ltd. The successful candidate will have a positive approach to challenges, be driven, self-motivated, multi-tasking, personable and have the ability to build strong relationships.

The Role:

The Finance Assistant role is vital to our continued growth. You will be a proactive, self-motivated individual who can navigate challenges with a positive attitude. You’ll be comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and possess the interpersonal skills required to build strong, collaborative relationships across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Operations: Report directly to the Finance Operations Manager, taking ownership of the day-to-day accounting operations. This includes the end-to-end processing of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and maintenance of the General Ledger to ensure accurate financial data.
  • Payment Management: Lead the efficient execution of weekly payment runs across multiple currencies. You will be responsible for ensuring high attention to detail in payment scheduling, vendor reconciliations and settlement processes, optimizing workflows for maximum efficiency.
  • Cashflow & Forecasting: Assist the Finance Operations Manager with cashflow management and forecasting.
  • Reconciliations: Perform regular financial and project-related reconciliations. You will work closely with our Project Management System to ensure project costs, budgets and billings are tracked accurately and transparently.
  • Compliance & Contracting: Oversee the company expenses system and proactively document financial policies. You will also support the team by drawing up key vendor documentation, including NDAs and Contractor Agreements, to ensure full regulatory and internal compliance.
  • Process & Policy Control: Documenting business and system processes and finance-related policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Process Improvement: Take the lead in documenting business and system processes. You will play a key role in maintaining and strengthening our finance workflows.
  • Reporting: Provide hands-on support for month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met with provision.
  • Operational Support: Support the wider teams with ad hoc operational duties, ensuring the department remains agile and responsive to business needs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
