Finance Associate IV – Finance Operations & Programme Coordination - Leading global technology
Location: London, UK
Contract: 12 months
Start Date: 26 October 2026
Working Pattern: Hybrid
Sector: Telecommunications / Network Infrastructure
We are looking for an experienced Finance Associate IV to join a large-scale international telecommunications infrastructure programme based in London. This role combines finance operations, billing and reconciliations, stakeholder coordination, document management and project administration. You will work across multiple finance and operational workstreams, supporting a diverse group of international partners, investors and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Operations & Billing
- Process and validate supplier, operations and maintenance invoices.
- Coordinate invoice distribution and monitor payment status and aging.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and reconcile payment confirmations.
- Manage funding requests, payment requests and purchase order utilisation.
- Handle invoice queries and disputes, escalating where appropriate.
- Prepare monthly billing, aging and collection reports.

- Coordinate regular finance working group meetings across multiple time zones.
- Prepare agendas, minutes and action trackers.
- Maintain document repositories, version control and approval workflows.
- Support budget variance analysis, financial reporting and annual budget planning.
- Track capital calls, payment schedules and cost allocations.
- Support audit requests and financial governance activities.
Investor Reconciliations
- Reconcile investor capital contributions against agreed schedules.
- Prepare cost-sharing reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Support annual true-up processes and investor reporting.
- Respond to investor and audit queries.
Project & Programme Support
- Coordinate project working group meetings and maintain action trackers.
- Maintain change/variation registers, deficiency logs and project documentation.
- Track project progress, approvals and financial impacts.
- Support operations and maintenance workstreams.
- Maintain contract and agreement registers, including renewals and amendments.
- Maintain consolidated programme dashboards and management reporting packs.
- Maintain programme documentation, contact databases and standard operating procedures.

Essential Experience
- 5+ years' experience in finance operations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing or reconciliation.
- Experience managing contracts, recurring billing arrangements and purchase orders.
- Strong experience coordinating meetings, agendas, minutes, action trackers and registers.
- Comfortable working with multiple external stakeholders and following up on invoices, payments and outstanding information.
- Strong attention to detail and document/version-control discipline.
- Good knowledge of Excel/spreadsheets and Google Workspace.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently with minimal supervision.
Desirable Experience
- Telecommunications, subsea cable or network infrastructure experience.
- Experience working with or within the African market.
- Joint venture, consortium or multi-partner environment experience.
- Multi-currency financial operations.
- Project management qualification such as PMP or PRINCE2.
