Role Description

This full-time, on-site Finance Executive role is based in the City of London. The Finance Executive will support day-to-day finance operations, including:

  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements
  • Assisting with monthly and quarterly financial reporting
  • Monitoring ledger entries for accuracy and completeness
  • Performing analytical reviews of financial data
  • Supporting tax-related activities (including GST where applicable)
  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements

The role will involve:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of finance workflows and systems

Qualifications

  • Strong core finance knowledge, including Finance and Financial Statements
  • Solid Financial Reporting skills, with experience in period-end closing and reporting processes
  • Robust Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, identifying trends, and supporting decision-making
  • Understanding of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and related compliance, or similar indirect tax frameworks
  • Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) are an advantage
  • Proficiency in financial and accounting software, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with reconciliations and controls
  • Attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work accurately under time constraints in a regulated financial environment
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple departments
  • Interest or experience in digital assets, blockchain, or capital markets is beneficial
