The Mission: Why We Exist

Genomics is a science-led transatlantic TechBio combining large-scale genetic and health data with proprietary analytics to accelerate drug discovery and advance predictive, preventative healthcare. We are united by a single vision to help people live longer, healthier lives, using the power of genomics.

Genomics aims to help people live longer, healthier lives in two ways: super-charging drug discovery and development for novel treatments with our AI-enabled advanced genetic analytics platform, and by helping people understand their personal risk of common chronic diseases through polygenic risk scores - giving doctors and health systems the chance to get the right people into the right prevention, screening and treatment programmes at the right time.

A Day in the Life

The Finance Associate will be responsible for all receivable and payable data entries across multiple geographies and currencies, managing employee expenses and ensuring all transactions are correctly coded. Act as the main point of contact for all finance platform queries - including accounting system, employee expenses and banking.

The Finance Associate will also play an important part in supporting the team on collating data for our R&D tax credit calculations, financial audits, the preparation of schedules during month-end close (accruals, prepayments, leasing, inventory, capex, loan note, fx, etc.) and assisting with the preparation of monthly management reports. Assist with maintaining compliance with US and UK requirements, such as HMRC and IRS.

We are in a new commercial phase in the business and expanding our functions outside of the UK so we are looking for someone who wants to grow and develop in this role and become familiar with finance across different geographies. A drive for continual efficiency, quality, and process improvements across all Finance team processes is necessary, as well as excellent attention to detail.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
