What You Would Do
Typical responsibilities could include:
- Gathering and documenting financial and operational requirements from stakeholders across finance functions
- Analysing existing financial processes and data structures to identify improvement opportunities
- Performing data quality analysis to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting
- Collaborating with finance teams and data stakeholders to understand reporting needs and business drivers
- Supporting the design and delivery of finance reporting solutions and dashboards
- Creating clear documentation and requirements specifications for finance projects
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives within finance operations
- Liaising between finance teams, IT and data functions to ensure requirements are understood and met

What You Could Bring
Most roles of this type require the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- Proven experience in requirements gathering and business analysis within a finance or commercial environment
- Strong financial analysis skills and familiarity with financial reporting processes
- Experience in data requirements gathering and data quality assessment
- Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with finance stakeholders at multiple levels
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial and technical concepts clearly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with business analysis tools or methodologies
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholder priorities
