The Economics
You already introduce clients to lenders and earn on the back of it. This is the same model applied to a product most of your clients are buying badly and nobody has offered to fix.
When you introduce, we execute and own the client relationship. You take a share of the revenue that client generates, every trade, for the life of the relationship. Not a one-off procuration fee. It compounds in a way lending introductions do not, because the client keeps trading.
A single importer turning over £5m a year in currency can produce meaningful recurring income on its own. Clients with regular overseas payment cycles are the ones worth introducing.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Why This Converts
Your clients are almost certainly using their business bank for FX. They are paying a spread they cannot see, on top of a payment fee, and they have never been shown the comparison. When they are, the conversation is short.
- It costs the client nothing to switch.
- Pricing typically improves on the bank.
- It does not compete with anything you currently sell.
- It sits alongside your lending and asset finance conversations rather than replacing them.
What Sits Behind It
I am an FX dealer at a globally regulated institution with $200bn+ in annual FX turnover and over 69,000 clients. Full product suite from spot through to forwards, options, and structured hedging, plus multi-currency accounts and cross-border payments. Your client gets a named dealer, not a call center.
