Just as the young people we work with need great people to work alongside them on the frontline, we need great trustees to sit behind the scenes.

Our trustees are people who are able to analyse performance, encourage development and ask the right questions as we move forward.

What difference will you make?

We have recently embarked on a programme of redevelopment which will create more accommodation for young people in Doncaster. This will be the main steer for our work across the next three to five years.

Our trustees are leading the development process, including engagement with consultancy and design services, and will be key to shaping the future provision.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What are we looking for?

We would particularly value trustees with strategic level experience in finance, buildings development or fundraising (particularly grants and individual giving).

We are also open to people who have senior-level experience of project management.

These skills will be key both for our development progress and for the continued support and scrutiny of our day-to-day work.
