Role Purpose

We're seeking a curious, adaptable Business Analyst to support the delivery of change across projects and work streams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys learning quickly, asking questions and working with others to understand business problems. As well as documenting requirements and supporting practical solutions. You'll work closely with experienced colleagues, stakeholders and subject matter experts, building on strong business analysis foundations while contributing to meaningful change across the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Support Business Analysis activities across the project life cycle, working with senior colleagues and adapting approach as priorities or delivery needs evolve.
  • Help gather, clarify and document business requirements by engaging with stakeholders, listening carefully and asking questions to build understanding.
  • Analyse existing processes, data, pain points and opportunities for improvement, escalating gaps, risks or uncertainties where further input is needed.
  • Assist in preparing clear documentation, including process maps, requirements, meeting notes, action logs, user stories and supporting materials.
  • Contribute ideas and observations in workshops and team discussions, showing confidence to ask for clarification when something is unclear.
  • Take ownership of personal development by seeking feedback, learning from others and building knowledge of business analysis practices, internal standards and relevant industry context.

Requirements

Experience & Knowledge

  • Strong experience in a finance, change, operations or analysis environment. Attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn carry importance as much as direct experience.

Technical Capabilities

  • Developing business analysis skills across problem analysis, process mapping, requirements gathering, documentation, testing support and change implementation.
  • Able to structure information clearly and turn discussions, notes and observations into concise written outputs.
  • Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, process flows and business documentation, with an eye for detail and consistency.
  • Able to prioritise work, manage actions and follow through on commitments with support and guidance.
  • Open to working in iterative or changing delivery environments where requirements may evolve over time.
  • Interest in financial services, operational change, regulatory reporting or data-driven decision-making would be beneficial.
