Inspired seeks an experienced Finance Business Analyst to join our successful SystemsLink area. This is a Contract role, duration is 3 - 6 months. It is home based with occasional travel to our offices required. The successful candidate will capture business requirements, design process workflows, and support the decommissioning of SugarCRM across the IEG portfolio - comprising six operating entities.
This is a high-impact role supporting a multi-million-pound enterprise transformation, with direct engagement from Executive Committee sponsors and the Private Equity investor base (HGGC).

- Work with the financial team to document process outcomes post decommissioning, including revenue recognition, GL integration, reporting hierarchies, and intercompany eliminations.

Process Mapping & Documentation
- Create comprehensive, visually clear process maps for financial workflows pre- and post-migration. Identify gaps, dependencies, and handoffs between Sugar decommissioning and HubSpot activation. Document current Sugar configuration specific to finance modules (GL, revenue, reporting etc).
Integration & Decommissioning Planning
- Define financial system integration points between SugarCRM decommissioning, HubSpot implementation, and existing ERP/GL platforms (e.g., Sage Intacct). Develop detailed decommissioning playbook covering data archival, cutover sequencing, and parallel-run protocols.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Lead discovery sessions with the finance team. Facilitate decision-making workshops. Prepare executive-ready materials for SteerCo and investor updates.
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify and escalate finance-specific risks in the decommissioning roadmap. Maintain risk and issue register. Propose mitigation strategies.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
Core Competencies
- 8+ years’ experience in financial business analysis, financial systems implementation, or CRM decommissioning projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in SugarCRM, Salesforce, Dynamics 365, or equivalent CRM platforms, particularly in financial modules.
- Proven ability to design process workflows and create professional documentation (process maps, requirements documents, technical specifications).
- Experience with ERP/GL systems (SAP, Oracle, Sage Intacct, NetSuite) and GL integration architecture.
- Strong data governance and regulatory compliance knowledge (GDPR, SOX, financial controls).
- Excellent communication skills; ability to engage executives, investors, and technical teams with clarity and confidence.

Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (data analysis, financial modelling).
- Fluency in Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalent diagramming tools.
- Proficiency in Word and PowerPoint for creating board-ready deliverables.
- Basic SQL and data warehouse querying skills preferred.
Soft Skills
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple entities in a complex, matrixed organisation.
- Proactive problem-solver with collaborative, stakeholder-centric approach.
- Comfortable working with Private Equity and C-level audiences.
