Commercial Finance Business Partner

Inc. Consulting is delighted to partner with a well-established professional services organisation to recruit a Commercial Finance Business Partner.

As Finance Business Partner, you will sit within the Commercial Finance team and play a key role in providing strategic financial insight, partner with senior leaders, and contribute to improved business performance across profitability, efficiency, and client service delivery.

Role Responsibilities

  • Partner with Heads of Departments and leadership teams to deliver financial expertise, presentations, and initiatives to drive performance.
  • Support with the delivery and development of the business's pricing strategy, contribute to strategic planning, and budgeting activities.
  • Deliver clear financial analysis and commentary to support informed decision-making.
  • Present financial training and mentoring to stakeholders at all levels, supporting commercial awareness across the business.
  • Collaborate with the wider commercial team, credit control, and local finance teams to improve financial efficiency and resolve key issues.
  • Contribute to financial reviews, reporting, and Board-level presentations.
  • Provide financial modelling and analysis to support strategic initiatives and pricing models.

Person Specification

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven PQE experience.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with advanced analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence, challenge, and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset.
